"MEMORIA IKASKETAK ETA EUSKAL KULTURA" JARDUNALDIA

memoria mintegia EHU Gasteiz

MHLIk memoria ikasketen eta euskal kulturaren inguruko jardunaldia ospatuko du.

Taldearen helburu nagusietako bat ikerketen emaitzak beste ikertzaile eta interesatuen esku jartzea da, hala maila akademikoan nola dibulgazio esparruetan. Horretarako, besteak beste, kideek kongresu eta mintegi ugaritan parte hartzen dute, ikerbide eta gaiak elkarbanatuz eta modu kooperatiboan ikertuz. Lankidetza hori taldearen barne-dinamiketan islatzen da, eta baita kanpora begira egiten diren askotariko lanetan ere (hitzaldiak, argitalpenak, etab.).

Oraingoan, MHLIk jardunaldi irekia antolatu du, edozein interesatuk bertaratzeko aukera izan dezan.

Jardunaldi honen helburua sinergiak sortzea da, komentatuz kideen azkenaldiko ikerketak, kongresuetan jasotako berriak, ezagututako ikerbideak... guztiak ere memoria ikasketek euskal kulturan duten lekuari begira.

Hona hemen jardunaldiaren inguruko berri zehatzagoa:

ARTISTS IN BETWEEN LANGUAGES: BASQUE LITERATURE AND CULTURE TODAY

udako ikastaroa konstanz memoria

This course has been part of a summer school on the subject of "Plurilinguisme en Europe occidentale: La France et l’Espagne" offered by the Departments of Literature and Linguistics together with the French-German University from 18th until 29th September, 2017.

More information on the programme can be found on these websites: https://www.uni-konstanz.de/international-participation/partner-und-kooperationen/dfh/ or https://www.uni-konstanz.de/international-participation/partner-und-kooperationen/dfh/bewerbung/

The goal of the course has been to analyze the function that re-memorizing the past has had in Basque literature and culture during the last four decades. It has, specifically, explore the evolution in Basque literature, films, documentaries or music from proposals which recalled a mythic past in the 1980s to those in which our recent conflictive political past has assumed center stage. The excellent reception that Basque writers such as Bernardo Atxaga or Kirmen Uribe have had at the international level and their canonization/assimilation into the Iberian interliterary system will also allow us to reflect on the expectations and the place that international critics conferred on Basque works. We will reflect, at the same time, on the possibilities that a minority literature like Basque literature has had in carving out a niche for itself in the so-called World Republic of Letters. The dialogue about the social and ethical function that cultural products have in a politically conflictive environment such as that of the Basque Country has been superimposed by the current debate, encouraged by authors like Iban Zaldua, Harkaitz Cano and Eider Rodriguez, or film makers like Imanol Uribe, Julio Medem or Montxo Armendariz on the opportunity that Basque culture has to export the abundant and original cultural creation which re-memorizes and draws on our most recent political past. The boom in novels and films about the Spanish Civil War or ETA terrorism in the last two decades and the gender politics that underlie those works have been some of the questions that have served as an introduction in order to comment on the narrative of current Basque authors such as Ramon Saizarbitoria or Arantxa Urretabizkaia.
