The opening of the exhibition Artearen memoria eta Gernika(k): didactic interventions by the MHLI research group will be held on 20 March 2025. The exhibition, curated by the Education subgroup in collaboration with the Plastic Arts subgroup, can be visited until 16 April at the Bizkaia Aretoa (UPV/EHU) in Bilbao. It is about reflecting on the capacity of art to channel trauma, as well as on the interventions carried out by the educational subgroup, since autumn 2023, to work on memory and conflict with children and young students in multiple primary schools. The result of this intense work is the book Artearen memoria eta memoriaren artea (Erein, 2024), an interdisciplinary project that encourages creativity to approach conflicts (if you want to know more details of the didactic proposal, click here).
