Mari Jose Olaziregui, the director of the research group MHLI, and Juan Arana Cobos edited a monographic work, published in the Bulletin of Hispanic Studies (nº93), titled: “Basque Studies and Beyond: A Brief Presentation of this Special Issue”.

This monographic was developed by Lourdes Otaegui (“Looking for Paradise. Utopia as a Social Issue in Basque Poetry”), Izaro Arroita (“Sites of Memory in Ramon Saizarbitoria’s Martutene”) and Gorka Mercero (“Learning to Think Otherness: Towards a Typology of World Views in Contemporary Basque Fiction”), among others. Aside from the members of the research group, the monographic also contains the works of Ludger Mees, Joxan Fernandez, Ana Maria Rabe and many others.
