The MHLI Research Group at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) is organizing the theoretical-methodological seminar “Intermedialidad y memoria: analizando prácticas artísticas”, to be delivered by Claire Taylor (University of Liverpool). The seminar will take place online on June 12, 2025, at 15:00 CEST. You can access the session via the link provided in the attached poster.

Claire Taylor is an expert in Latin American literature and has worked in areas such as digital literature. In this seminar, she will combine intermediality and memory, as one of her main research lines encompasses the intersection of memory studies, memory practices, and transitional justice contexts in Latin America, especially in Colombia. She currently holds an AHRC Standard Grant focusing on memory, victims, and the representation of the Colombian conflict. Additionally, she leads two follow-up projects on human rights archives and historical memory, and on community museums in the creative economy, both with a specific focus on Colombia.
