PROFESSOR ELIZALDE’S AND IBARLUZEA’S LECTURES AT A SUMMER COURSE

On July the 3rd, Amaia Elizalde and Miren Ibarluzea, members of MHLI, will participate as speakers in the Mundua eraldatzeko irakurri [Read literature to change the world] summer course.

On July the 3rd and the 4th, the summer course Mundua eraldatzeko irakurri [Read literature to change the world], directed by Maite Aperribay, professor and researcher at the UPV/EHU, will be held at the Bizkaia Aretoa of the UPV/EHU in Bilbao. In it, as the title suggests, in addition to discussing about literature and its values, the experts will also speak about its importance specifically in literary education. Among the participants will be MHLI members Miren Ibarluzea (UPV/EHU), from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, under the title Literatur lanak baliatzea hizkuntza eta kultur aniztasunera bidean [Using literary works towards linguistic and cultural diversity], and Amaia Elizalde (UPV/EHU), from 1: 30 to 2:30 PM, with the paper Iraganeko gertaera gatazkatsuekiko hurbilpen goiztiarra literaturaren bidez [Early approximation through literature to the conflictive events of the past].
