On October the 9th and 10th the Gernika Peace Museum Foundation, together with the Observatory of European Memories EUROM-UB, will be held the II. International Seminar Places of Memory and Tourism: tourist uses of memory in Gernika.
The MHLI research group held on June the 13th and 14th of 2024 the International Congress Gernika(k)/Guernica(s): Resemanticizations of a historical trauma, in which several speakers took the opportunity to take part in the Memory Tour organized by the Gernika Peace Museum Foundation. Thus, the same Foundation, together with the Observatory of European Memories EUROM-UB, and subsidized by the City Council of Gernika, the Meeting House of Bizkaia and the Pastoral Barrutia of Gernikaldea, will hold the II. International Seminar Places of Memory and Tourism: tourist uses of memory on October the 9th and 10th in Gernika. In it, among other things, the tour of memory, which has been part of our conference program, will be discussed.
